Silver Sands McLaren Vale Chardonnay 2024

Sourced from our Aldinga vineyard on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula known for its white sands and clear waters. The vineyard sits on fertile Ngaltinga clay soils where vines meet the sea. A Mediterranean climate and cooling breezes between the Mount Lofty Ranges and Gulf St Vincent create ideal conditions for exceptional Chardonnay. It features grey and green clays. The vineyard soils require careful watering as they can crack during the hot summers.

Due to the heavy, moisture retaining clay, it heavily influences the style of wines produced here due to the moisture retention which are highly prized by local winemakers. Our dedicated team work together to transform and create truly remarkable wines from this small sub region of McLaren Vale.
